Overview
élan™ water filters are manufactured using durable 304 stainless steel, and electropolished for increased resistance to corrosion. They are pressure-rated to 150 PSI. élan™ up-flow water filters outperform conventional filters because the outlets are located above the inlets, providing the following advantages:
Advantages
- No air entrapment in filter housing during operations.
- No vents required because air is self-purged.
- No lost capacity due to air pockets; entire filter medium is utilized at all time.
- No by-pass during servicing; liquid can only exit filter housing after filtering.
The élan™ EL-190 requires 42 filters to operate and is suggested for use with the MEGATRON® M90 and the SANITRON® S10,000C .
