Overview
élan™ water filters are manufactured using durable, 304 stainless steel. Electropolishing provides increased resistance to corrosion. These units are pressure-rated to 150 PSI. élan™ up-flow water filters outperform conventional filters because their outlets are located above the inlets, providing these advantages:
Advantages
- No air entrapment in filter housing during operation.
- No vents required – air is self-purged.
- No lost capacity due to air pockets – entire filter medium is utilized at all time.
- No by-pass during servicing – liquid can only exit filter housing after filtering.
The 'elan™ EL-450 requires 100 filters to operate and is suggested for use with the MEGATRON® M150 / MEGATRON® M250 and the SANITRON® S20,000C .
